Secret Rainbow
This afternoon I was sitting at my computer at work. It was like most any other day at work except that my boss was out sick today, which meant it was less hectic, quieter, and I was able to do one thing at a time instead of my usual multi-tasking. I was listening to music and working when I looked up at the windows and noticed that it had rained a bit. I love the rain. I took a moment to look out the windows at the change in the skies outside. When suddenly a rainbow appeared. It was like God took a paint brush and painted a rainbow in the sky outside my window just to put a smile on my face. And then a few minutes later it was gone... A very beautiful secret rainbow that was mine for a few moments.

And then you realized it wasn't a rainbow at all, but some little kid who'd just eaten a bag of skittles puked on the window just after he got done peeing on it...
